Hailing from Canada, Alexander is a graduate of the University of Toronto. While at university, he took part in the school’s international exchange program on two separate occasions, studying at two different Japanese universities.

Alexander’s corporate experience includes time at Japan’s largest translation company, stints at Canada’s largest MGA in the life insurance industry, and at a firm based in Tokyo specializing in M&A (mergers and acquisitions).

Bilingual in English and Japanese, Alexander first arrived in Japan in 2006. He has been professionally involved in translation in one way or another since 2010 and left the world of M&A in 2015 to focus primarily on his translation business.

He lives in Japan together with his wife Mika, their three children, and their dog.

トロント大学在学中に交換留学生として来日、日本の大学2校で学んだことが日本との関わりの始まり。

カナダの生命保険業界における最大手のMGA、日本最大手の翻訳会社、東京のクロスボーダーM&A企業にて勤務してきたなど経歴を持つ。

日英バイリンガル。

初めての来日は交換留学でやってきた2006年。

その後プロの翻訳者として2010年から活動を始め、2015年にM&A業界を離れ、翻訳者としての活動に専念することに。

現在は、妻と子ども３人、そして愛犬と共に日本で暮らしている。

A native to Japan, Mika spent a chunk of her early adult years living abroad. After spending some time in Australia, she moved to the United Kingdom where she gained extensive experience working in the airline and rental vehicle industries.

Upon moving back to Japan, Mika played a crucial role in the daily administrative operations of one of Tokyo’s most prominent music studios. Since leaving that role, Mika has been leveraging her bilingual abilities and administrative expertise as an indispensable part of the business.

She lives in Japan together with Alexander, their three children, and their dog.

日本出身。生まれも育ちも大阪。

大学卒業後、オーストラリアでの生活を経て英国へ。

マンチェスターで生活しながら、レンタカー業界、最終的には航空会社で経験を積む。長期間に亘る海外生活の後、帰国。

帰国後は業界老舗である音楽制作会社にて秘書業務や総務事務等、重要な役割を果たす。

以降、自身のバイリンガルスキルと今までの職歴にて培ってきた能力を活用しながら事業運営を行う。

現在は、代表である夫と子ども３人、そして愛犬と共に日本で暮らしている。
